Hi…I am not usually a spa person, but would recommend visiting the Harrogate Turkish baths, if you ever venture to Yorkshire 😊 Beautiful tiling and glazed brick throughout; 3 graded heat rooms, as you mentioned, steam room, showers and plunge pool. I attended a mixed session ( swimwear compulsory) a few years ago, and did have to tie my own shoelaces, but it really felt like stepping back in time🙂
Add the Peak District to your list, and you will cover most of the buildings and scenery used in the Granada TV series 😊 I think the Harrogate Baths appear in “The Illustrious Client” too.
